Our goal is to study the interplay between evolutionary processes and organismal development and disease.
The lab opens March 1, 2025.
Our lab uses a combination of model and non-model organisms to investigate the genetic and molecular mechanisms behind evolution. We are based in the Department of Organismal Biology and Anatomy at the University of Chicago. We also have laboratory space and conduct research at the Marine Biological Laboratory (https://www.mbl.edu/) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts during the summer.
